Xtalks is the world’s leading provider of educational webinars for the international life sciences community. They recently cited statistics from our Voice of the Patient research study in a press release for an upcoming webinar.

The webinar, entitled Unlocking Patient Engagement: Enhancing the Clinical Trial Experience with Consumerization, discusses the essential technologies, features, and processes study sponsors and CROs need to adopt to be competitive in today’s clinical trial industry.

It will take place on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at 12:00 pm EDTm and registration can be found here.

“According to Clincierge, 87 percent of patients and their families consider participating in clinical trials to be a stressful experience.

In parallel, 85 percent of Americans own a smartphone, which presents a potential avenue for improving clinical trial experiences and boosting patient engagement.

The increased adoption of technology has heightened trial participants’ expectations, pushing for more intuitive, consumer-like experiences in clinical design.”

Clincierge conducted a two-part study of patients and their caregivers to discover the emotional, financial, and logistical burdens associated with clinical trial participation.

By learning the needs of participants and caregivers, clinical trial stakeholders can work together to create a better patient experience, increasing access to trials and improving study retention rates.
